These date from the Pliocene era, or 3-4 million years ago! They were collected by permission from a site that is now covered with new homes. You will receive a group of similarly sized specimens as those seen in the first photo. Great for teachers as an inexpensive teaching aid, enabling the children to hold these genuine fossil echinoids in their hands, and to keep for their own collections. Great for crafts and jewelry making. These specimens have been lightly cleaned. You can further enhance their look through light sanding with fine sand paper, and spraying with a final clear coat from a can you can buy at Home Depot, Walmart, Lowes or any big box store.
