Selling is an advertisement page for:
Johns-Manville Shingles
from 1929
This is an ad for Johns-Manville Corporation, makers of Rigid Asbestos Shingles.
There is a photo of a large house, roofed with their Colorblende Shingles. These are a Portland cement and asbestos mix. The shingles are guaranteed to last a lifetime.
This ad is full page, approx. 7” x 10”, carefully removed from a magazine.
This is an actual page from an actual 1929 magazine. On the back are 2 half-page ads; one for Thomas Cook & Sons Tours; the other for Oshkosh Trunks. There’s a small photo of a golfer’s steamer trunk (wardrobe).
Great Condition, minimal yellowing along edges.
