    Description

Here's an unusual Coca-Cola collectible.  It's a plexiglass sign that was originally on display at the concession stand of a movie theater lobby.  The top left corner pictures a smiling woman holding up a paper cup with the Coca-Cola logo on it.  The Coke logo also appears on the right side of the sign, which reads "Drink Cola-Cola," under the words "Soda Shoppe."  The bottom edge of the sign reads "LARGE DRINKS with Crushed Ice."  The sign is about 13" X 30".  The area in the top left corner (where the smiling woman is pictured) is actually an insert panel which can be removed and changed to another picture.  It looks like some Coke might have spilled under the insert because there are some discolored areas around the woman.  The only other "damage" on the sign is in a oval area near the lower left corner where something has been scratched off.  The background of the sign is transparent, giving the sign a sort of 3-D appearance.  Probably dates back to the 1950s.  This is an original sign, not a copy or a reproduction.  A great addition to any collection of vintage Coca-Cola memorabilia.
