riginal brochure by Schield Bantam Company, Waverly, Iowa. The original is 35 pages plus fold-out middle panels. The original brochure as not dated, but a picture of a Bantam skyscraper hoist on page 32 shows the Republic National Bank Building of Dallas, Texas under construction, which was completed in 1959.
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A NEW CD
containing JPG images of each page. Each page was scanned at 400 pixels per inch (ppi). This gives better resolution than 300 ppi. I did not scan at 600 ppi because the resulting file size for each page image is so huge I would not be able to fit all pages on a single CD without compressing (zipping) the images.
About the pictures accompanying this auction description:
The first picture is of the front of the CD case. The second, third, and forth pictures are monitor prints of a page image opened in my graphics software, with the second image zoomed to one fifth view. That means the
third and forth pictures are what you see on a monitor screen at full size. I think the image quality is stunning, and I hope you do to! You can spend hours exploring up close the details of some great historic construction equipment! The remaining pictures are digital camera shots of some pages in the original.
This is a CD not paper! Just JPG picture files on CD!
