A date not typically seen with iridescent rainbow color, especially in MS65. Olive tan centers surrounded by deep, iridescent rainbow swaths, comparable in nature to the toning seen on the popular, so-called "black beauty" Morgan dollars. A gorgeous example for the variety specialist or the toning enthusiast, and a rare find for someone looking for both. FVI Bugs Bunny A-3a is a later die state of the variety, but the forked upper lip is still visible, along with extensive clashing elsewhere, including a bold collar clash on the neck, which is diagnostic of this die marriage.
