1963 Franklin Half DollarThe beautiful Franklin Half Dollar was
minted
from 1948 to 1963.
Designed by John R. Sinnock,
Benjamin Franklin

Franklin probably would have
preferred to share a coin with
his favorite American bird,
the wild turkey.
The Franklin Half Dollar is 90% silver
and was
produced by the
Philadelphia,
Denver and
San Francisco Mints.
Franklins minted in
Philadelphia
were struck
without a mint mark.

has some toning around
the outer edge.
