    FIFTH ANNIVERSARY APOLLO 11 LAUNCH FROM CAPE CANAVERAL LAUNCH PAD DEDICATED AS NATIONAL SHRINE CACHET July 16, 1974 FLAG STAMP SC# 1509
    This cover commemorates the 5th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 Launch from Cape Canaveral on July 16, 1969 and the dedication of Launch Pad 39 as a National Shrine on July 16, 1974, with the Apollo Crew present. This cover features the 10 cent "50 star & 13 star crossed flags
    " stamp issued in 1973 and a July16, 1974 "Kennedy Space Center" cancellation.
    The cachet is multicolored with a lunar landing module and an astronaut in his space suit
    descending while another astronaut is on top of the Lunar Module and appears to be taking pictures.
    Also, within the cachet are drawings of Neil Armstrong, Edwin E. Aldrin, Jr. and Michael Collins and their respective
    facsimile
    signatures and the words "Launch Pad 39 Dedicated as National Shrine - JULY 16, 1974 - Apollo Crew Present" and FIRST MOON LANDING JULY 20TH".
    Also printed within the cachet is "Apollo 11, 5th Anniv.".
    The cover is unsealed. The logo of "Space Vogage" cachets is also printed on the cover. There is a tiny address label in the lower right of the cover with the print "Boy Scout Cachets".
