    Description

    Here’s a nice antique anvil for blacksmithing from the colonial era of America. Overall in pretty good shape considering it’s age. Anvils like these were made in the 1700-1800’s. Two piece construction, the body and the horn that was Forge welded on. Amazing to see it’s still around after all these years. The face is fairly flat with just a slight dip in the middle and does have plenty of use marks. With the horn facing to the right there is some edge damage. The horn is in pretty good shape, again with use markings.
