    Description

    Hi all!
    This is a lot of four fossil Sand Dollars (Heliophora sp.) from the Miocene or Pliocene of Morocco! Sand Dollars are type of Sea Urchin. Sea urchins, are small filter feeding echinoderms (the group that includes starfish and crinoids) that are covered in spines and live on the sea floor. Heliophora is a unique type of sand dollar known for the "fingers" jutting out of one side of it and not the other. The order comes with all four sand dollars. They measure 1.35 to 1.55 inches across!
    All of my items come with a Certificate of Authenticity! If I have a fossil or mineral listed up as something, I make darn well sure that's what it is!
