Easy to Use:
Drill a series of small holes close to the center of the workpiece to be drifted. Once the holes are drilled, heat the piece and split with a cold chisel or similar tool. Then, the piece is heated again and the drifters are driven into the holes. While continuing to drive the drifters into the workpiece, tap the sides of the workpiece until the drifters' holes reach the desired measurement. The heating process may take several times to obtain the desired shape.
