This listing is for one pair of tongs that will do everything described and shown in photos. They are about 16” long and weigh about 1lb. They are personally hand forged. Very Strong and durable. Comfortable and light. Each is tested for strength by holding a 3.5lb 23” PRY BAR straight out( as shown in photos). Please see all photos and feel free to ask questions.
This is a great pair of tongs for reducing stock and working with a lot of different sizes of stock.
Holds 1/8”-1/2” round stock parallel with hollow jaw tip(nibs). (Will hold bigger but gets less secure)
Holds 3/4”- 1” Round Stock perpendicular in the arc.(over 1” Is a stretch for the hand)
Holds 5/8”-3/4” square stock perpendicular in the arc.
These are the sizes I’ve tested for a secure hold, you may find more sizes and uses. They are very handy for a multitude of tasks!
