ESTATE ITEM  BRITISH OMNIBUS SET  SILVER WEDDING ANNIVERSARY  1947 1972

Description

This is an estate item that has been stored away since 1975.  I did not attempt to remove any of the stamps from their original positions to verify count/condition.  The only item removed was a small cardboard label which reads "Silver wedding omnibus serie of 35 territories Antigua to Tristan".  Also included was a paper which was stored with the set showing it was purchased from the Sherman Oaks Stamp and Coin Co. in an auction.  Given that the stamps can not be from before 1972, this set was purchased some time between 1972 and 1975 and has been stored away since.
The page states that they are MNH, and are comprised of 35 sets, 76 diff stamps.  I tried to count what is visible and I feel I can see 74, but there are multiple spots where I can see that it appears stamps are fully or close to fully obscured behind another stamp, so I am not able to give an exact count.  .
