Excelsior USA Metal File Storage Box w/ interesting documents inside

Document pertaining to a soldier who was enlisted in 1861 in Camp Dennison, Ohio, and engaged in the following battles of the Civil War: Winchester, VA March 23rd, 1862.  He was captured in this battle and kept as a prisoner and held in Lynchburg, VA until Feb. 11th, 1863.  After being released, he took part in additional battles: Bristol Sta. VA Oct. 14th, 1863, Rappahannoch Ford Nov. 7th, 1863, Mine Run Nov. 26th 1863, Ft. Stevens July 12th 1864, Snickers Ferry July 18th, 1864, Winchester Sept. 19th 1864, Fishers Hill Sept. 22nd 1864, and Cedar Creek Oct. 19th, 1864.  The Civil War was fought in the United States from 1861-1865 as a result of the long standing controversy over slavery, during which time Abraham Lincoln was inaugurated President of the United States.  There are also death certificates dating 1968 in Los Angeles.  These documents came with the box when I acquired it, and will go with it when I sell it.  The file box Measures 10 1/4" Tall x 12 1/4" wide x 5 1/2" deep.  No key...opens by pushing down on the front button under the clasp.
