    Description

    Tour de France Automobile 1959
    Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta
    Olivier Gendebien & Lucien Bianchi
    BRAND NEW!
    Limited Edition Print
Benjamin's latest print is a spectacular composition that shows the 1959 Tour de France for automobiles. The Belgian duo of Olivier Gendebien and Lucien Bianchi driving a Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta are shown at the front, and they won the 1959 edition, as well as the 1957 and 1958 TdeF's.  The scene is in Nice, and in the background you can see the famous Hotel Negreso, "le palace inattendu". If you look carefully you can also spot some famous actors in the crowd (I see James Dean sitting on a wall).
Also visible are two more Ferrari 250 GTs, a Porsche 356, Alfa Romeo Giulietta, Jaguar MK1 and DB Panhard (I think).  The original painting was done on commission for the 2019 "Techno Classica Essen", the biggest vintage car show in Europe.
Just released, a brand new Limited Edition print by Benjamin Freude
nthal, noted French automotive artist.  Each print is signed and numbered by the artist, one of an edition of 300, printed in France on 300g paper.  The size is 60 cm x 80 cm,  about 23 5/8” x 31 1/5”.
All posters will be shipped in a commercial or USPS poster tube.  We are always happy to combine purchases to minimize shipping expense.
