    Description

    1942 - Practical Builder Magazine - Lot of 6 Issues
    A Journal Devoted to the Practical Problems of Building Contractors
    This 6 piece lot includes the June, August, September, October, November & December issues. Published by Industrial Publications, Inc. Each issue is a 12" x 16-1/4" tabloid newspaper and includes numerous photos, illustrations, articles and features, as well as great vintage advertising.
    Condition ranges from
    GOOD
    to
    VERY GOOD
    . All are soiled, worn and frayed around the edges. All have a "newspaper" fold (once at the center). Minor tears and partial separations at the page folds are found in varying degrees on all the issues. For the most part, the stapled bindings are sound, the documents are completely intact, and all the internal pages are clean and 100% legible. Significant deviations from this are noted for each issue below:
    The June issue, Volume 7, No. 6, is 32 pages long. Other than a 4" tear from the bottom of page 1-2, it is in
    GOOD
    condition.
    The August issue, Volume 7, No. 8, is 24 pages long. A 4"(avg.) x 12" section has been ripped from the bottom of page 1-2. Otherwise, it is in
    GOOD
    condition.
    The September issue, Volume 7, No. 9, is 24 pages long. A 3"(avg.) x 12" section has been ripped from the bottom of page 1-2. Otherwise, it is in
    GOOD
    condition.
    The October issue, Volume 7, No. 10 is 32 pages long. A 4" x 7" "triangular" section  has been ripped from the bottom of page 1-2. Otherwise, it is in
    GOOD
    condition.
    The November issue, Volume 7, No. 11,
    is 24 pages long. Page 1-2 is 50% detached at the fold. Otherwise, it is in
    VERY GOOD
    condition.
    The December issue, Volume 7, No. 12, is 24 pages long. A 2-1/2"(avg.) x 12" section has been ripped from the bottom of page 1-2. Otherwise, it is in
    GOOD
    condition.
    The 6 issue set weighs 1 lb. 9 ounces.
