Native American Gourd Rattle (Chinook)

Description

I painted the gourd terra cotta then speckled it with blue and yellow paint. I then applied a sealant to it.  The handle is carved from yellow cedar and then applied linseed oil to it. The rattle is approximately a foot long and the handle is approximately an inch and a half thick. each gourd rattle will sound different due to the thickness of the gourd.
