    Description

    Taos Pueblo Buckskin Drum
This is  beautiful Native American ceremonial drum and drumstick all hand-crafted by Frank Mirabal, resident artist from the Taos Pueblo in New Mexico.  The rawhide buckskin is stretched on the top and bottom of the hollowed log, and tied with rawhide strips including a handle.  The drum has beautiful, aged patina and a deep, mellow sound.
The drum measures 9" high and 8" in diameter.  The drumstick has been covered in hide.
