    Description

This connecting rod forging # 330613 was originally used in late 1939 to 1947 Packard 6 cylinder and late 1939 to 1947 Packard small 8 cylinder, 282 C. I. The bore size of the big end is 2.220 . The bearings for this rod are still available in most sizes.
The original rod that was used in 1937 to early 1939 Packard 6 and 1936 to early 1939 Packard 8 cylinder, 282 C.I. had a big end bore of bore of 2.200 . The forging numbers were #304005 and #316966 . The bearings for these early rods are very hard to find. The #330613 will replace the early rods perfectly and bearings are available.
The discoloration and streaks that you can see in the big end bore is dried oil which prevents rusting. These rods have been stored in our warehouse for over 20 years.
The pictures shown are not generic pictures, they are pictures just like the rod you will receive.
