Trenton ajax anvil restored.
A big thanks to Custom Cutters in Mount Vernon OH for helping me out with this one.
Great people and did a great job in weld/polish to bring this back to life.
This is a Trenton Ajax anvil a 2 piece anvil with a tool steel top plate from the manufacturer.
Repaired professionally with high tensile flux core rod (weld rod to repair excavator bucket teeth type applications)
From what I’ve seen these repairs can either go wrong or right.
As a result this is done right, very pleased solid weld repair.
Holds excellent rebound all across the top and is very lively.
Was completely solid to begin with no cracks or structural damage.
Just needed some edges back.  Last 2 pictures show the Id numbers and original condition
