    Description

This vintage 1970's hand drum features a beautiful design of a Haida Thunderbird, made with rawhide and measuring 14 inches in diameter and 1.5" deep. The drum was crafted by artisan Clarence A. Wells in Canada and is handmade with rope handles, reflecting the rich culture of Native American people of the Pacific Northwest. The drum is a unique piece of art and an authentic representation of Haida tribal affiliation. It is a collectible item that can be displayed on a wall or used in musical performances. Don't miss the opportunity to own a piece of Native American history and add this stunning drum to your collection. The drum is still tight and sounds great. It depicts a pair of hawks in the graphic Haida style and is titled "Fish Hawk". The red, black and white coloring of the eagles makes a striking contrast to the natural background color of the drum surface. Some stains present on side of drum as seen in photos.
