Vintage The Billings & Spencer Co. Jewelers Anvil & Stand Tool Scarce must look

I have for auction a vintage, and somewhat unusual The Billings & Spencer Co Hartford Conn.  Drop Forged Jewelers anvil and base. It is in very good used as found condition. The tool is un-cleaned and could use a minor cleaning.  The anvil is in good shape and it is clearly marked. ( see pictures 4 & 5)  The base is as found as well, and it will need some cleaning. The base retains a lot of the original nickel plating is dirty and will need some polishing.  The anvil measures 3 1/4'' long. The anvil and stand weigh 1 pound 8 ounces as pictured.  The tool stands 2 1/8'' tall to the top surface of the anvil.  The pin on the bottom of the base is meant to push/release the anvil from the stand.
