Description
Three vintage manuscripts from 1937 for a lecture series at the Colorado Museum of Natural History, now known as the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. "Mammals", and "Amphibian, Fish, and Mollusks" were both written by famed paleo biologist, E.B. Holmes. The staple keeping the lecture on mammals has pulled through the first page. Otherwise, they looked like they were typed yesterday! The third lecture, "Our Friends the Birds" was written and presented by acclaimed female archaeologist, H.M. (Hannah Marie) Wormington. She used her initials to hide her gender, as a woman archaeologist would never have been taken seriously at the time. Very interesting piece of museum history!
